Sleeping is essential to our bodies, minds, and focus. Our bodies need time to rest and be ready to take on the day ahead, which for most people is difficult because most of them are working two to three jobs just to stay afloat supporting their families. We are living in difficult times with prices constantly going up, which leads many people to work many hours with little sleep.

I feel as though teens do not get enough sleep because they are at school, do homework or studying throughout the night, and maybe they only get about 3 to 4 hours of sleep each night. They also try to spend time with their friends and family when they get the chance after their school work is completed, which leads to less sleep for them in the end.

I think I got about 4 to 6 hours of sleep as a teen, but I could not fall asleep in class. I was worried that I was going to have something thrown at me to wake me up if I did, but I saw others in class who would sleep for most of the class, which was surprising to me at the time.
